The Bob Rueppel Mini Meet at Old Orchard Swim Club is a swimming meet for children ages 9 and under, which will be held on Sunday, July 7th, 2019. Since 1969, children ages 9 and under from Cherry Hill, Marlton, Haddonfield, Medford, Medford Lakes, Mt Laurel, Pennsauken, Merchantville, Voorhees, and other towns in Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester Counties in New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and Delaware have competed in this premier event. The focus is on the younger swimmers and their families- its their chance to be in the spotlight or to try out a new stroke or distance event.
The Meet features 61 events, including fun “kick board” races for the youngest participants! Old Orchard also runs “Hot Heats” with small prizes to the winners of these randomly selected heats. The continued success of this annual event is in part due to the fun, relaxed, and safe outdoor swimming environment offered by Old Orchard Swim Club .

All Representatives must attend the general meeting on Saturday, June 8, 9:00 AM at Green-fields Swim Club. Tri-County Representatives are required to be certified Stroke/Turn Officials. (Tri-County Rule 10 sec. 7).
A coach from each club must attend the Coaches Meeting on Saturday, June 8, 1:30 PM at Green-fields.
Each club must send a member to one (1) of the Scoring Table Clinics. Dates and times are:

A member who would like to become a new Stroke/Turn or Starter/Referee official must attend a certifying clinic. Please see the clinic schedule above. Before becoming a Starter/Referee a member must serve as a Stroke/Turn official for 2 Tri-County seasons and be currently certified as a Stroke/Turn official.
All Officials recertified every 2 years. Tri-County Representatives must be recertified every 2 years as a Stroke/Turn Judge. If an Official or a Representative attended a training clinic last year (2018), they do not have to attend this year. Re-certifying Starter/Referee officials must recertify in Stroke/Turn as well.

Welcoming our newest swim team, the dragons. the dragons—our masters swim team (ages 18+) competing with usa swimming- masters league. practices are structured to build endurance and improve technique with an on deck certified coach.
Warm-ups 7:00am (Gate opens @ 6:45am) Meet Start 8:00am
Age Groups: 5/under, 6 year olds, 7 year olds, 8 year olds, 9 year olds.
Swimmer Event Limit: No more than 5 individual events and 1 relay event per swimmer
Individual: Ribbons for heat winners, Rosettes 1st-3rd place individual,Ribbons 4th-12th place individual. Relays- Ribbons- 1st-3rd place
Individual High Point Award (each age group 5-9, boy and girl)(5 year olds
Free and Back only)
Team High Point- 1st through 3rd place.
Scoring Points (12 places): 16,13,12,11,10,9,7,5,4,3,2,1. Points are doubled for relays.
Entry Fees: $4 per entry, $10 per relay (kickboard event is FREE!) Deck entries (if available) $5/per event

Parking– is available in the Pomona Swim Club lot and next door in the Wood Park lot (other side of Lamplighter’s. Overflow parking is available next to the tennis courts off of Branch Pike (behind Pomona).
Do not park in the St. Charles’s Church parking lot or access road! They have church services all morning.
